Criteria for Issuing a Non-Bankruptcy Certificate

All issued Non-Bankruptcy Certificates can be verified using the registry ID number printed on the certificate.

The Non-Bankruptcy Certificate serves as proof of no bankruptcy, demonstrating that a company or individual is financially solvent and has not been involved in any bankruptcy case information or insolvency proceedings. This includes any voluntary or involuntary petitions filed within the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court system. Interested parties may request this Non Bankruptcy Certificate U.S. for verification purposes.


Criteria for Applying for a Non-Bankruptcy Certificate for an Individual Using an SSN

  1. U.S. government issued ID number / SSN (last four) to verify your identity for accessing Bankruptcy Case Information.
  2. Full Name of individual (First, Middle, Last) to ensure accurate records in the Bankruptcy Records.
  3. Full Name of DBA (If applicable) to be included in the Non-Bankruptcy Certificate, confirming Proof of No Bankruptcy.

This service complies with foreign trade agreements and includes 5.9.20 Non-Bankruptcy Insolvencies, in conjunction with our bankruptcy certificate service and due diligence reports.


Criteria for Applying for a Non-Bankruptcy Certificate for a Business Using an EIN
(including sole proprietors, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, non-profit associations, and others)

  1. EIN issued by the United States Internal Revenue Service (last four digits only) is needed for the Non-Bankruptcy Certificate. *For security and privacy reasons, the full EIN is not necessary on the certificate.
  2. Please provide the legal name of the Corporation or LLC as it was filed with the IRS when the EIN was issued.
  3. Additionally, include the name and title of the individual requesting the Non Bankruptcy Certificate, which serves as proof of no bankruptcy, alongside any relevant Bankruptcy Case Information or Bankruptcy Records.

Once the required information is provided on the application form, a search and verification will be performed in the United States National Bankruptcy/Insolvency database, reviewing Bankruptcy Case Information and Bankruptcy Records from the past 10 years. After this process is complete, a Non-Bankruptcy Certificate will be sent via email, typically within 5-7 business days.
